Day
01 : Arrive Srinagar
Arrive Srinagar, pride of the beautiful valley of Kashmir famous for its
lakes dotted with Shikaras and the Mughal Gardens. Transfer to Hotel/
Houseboat. day at leisure, shikara ride to Nehru Park in the evening,
Overnight in the Houseboat.
Day 02 : Srinagar
After breakfast visit Mugal Gardens of Srinagar.
The three Mughal Gardens of Cheshmashahi, Nishat and Shalimar are the
Mughal emperors concept of paradise and are today very popular places for
picnics. These gardens are traditionally patterned in the formal gardens of
Central Asia , Persia and Turkistan. Rest of the day at leisure for shopping
or shikara ride to Floating Market for shopping (Cost not included),
overnight in the Houseboat
Day 03 : Srinagar - Gulmarg Srinagar
This morning you will proceed for a full day excursion to Gulmarg, Meadow
of Flowers ( 56 kms /2 hrs) situated at an altitude of 2730 meters, full day
at leisure to take the leisurely walks on the lush green meadows of flowers
with a backdrop of the snow capped mountains. Enjoy pony ride or Gondola
ride (rope way) to Khillanmarg at your own cost, Return to Srinagar,
Overnight in the Deluxe House Boat .
Day 04 : Srinagar - Sonmarg Srinagar
After breakfast full day excursion of Sonmarg which is one of the most
beautiful drives from Srinagar. Sonmarg also called Meadow of Gold is
located at a height of 2690 meters. You may take a pony ride (at your own
cost) to Thajiwas Glacier where snow remains round the year. After that
return to Srinagar, Overnight in the Houseboat.
Day 05 : Srinagar - Pahalgam - Srinagar
Today you will be transferred by road to Pahalgam (94 kms/2.5 hrs) Valley
of Shepherds. Enroute you will have an rare opportunity to visit the Saffron
fields. Also visit Avantipura Ruins & Anantnag Sulpher Springs enroute,
Arrive and proceed to your hotel, rest of the day at leisure to explore the
countryside and enjoy leisurely walks through the pine forest along the
river Lidder, Back to Srinagar, Overnight at the house Boat.
Day 06 : Depart Srinagar
After breakfast, transfer to airport for your onward flight back home
